UX stands for User Experience, and as the name says, it deals with creating the best experiences for users. UX design is a huge part of the design process and design teams rely on it to create meaningful experiences for their users.
I like to think of UX design as crafting a useful journey for users, whiles helping them reach their goal with less friction. It’s not all about design and Figma/XD. It’s rather a whole process of strategy and building a sense of empathy between you, the designer, and users.?
Before I start work on any project, I try to understand thoroughly what the problem is and why do we want to solve it. After this, I check if we have already existing solutions and what their shortcomings are. Honestly, I enjoy the strategy part of the design process since it brings a lot of revelations and I get to learn a bunch of new things.
Hopefully, more people get into UX design and fall in love with crafting the very best experiences. I still have a lot to learn in this field, and I'm loving the learning journey so far.
I look forward to writing more lol...
Keep learning,
Derrick
