What Are the Uses of Landing Pages?
What's a Landing page??
A Landing Page acts as a page on a website where you want people to click through to another web page or site. It might be an ad for a product, but it could also be an invitation to register for something such as a newsletter.?
This section of a webpage is designed to draw the attention of users who may be interested in making a purchase. They're then redirected to another page or site so they can buy whatever it is you sell.?
Landing pages are typically used for online advertising campaigns but they can also be used for direct marketing. A landing page typically only has the goal of navigating a customer to the purchase part of the Sales Funnel. In contrast to a webpage that would have other goals in mind such as brand awareness or brand information; the main goal of a landing page is to provide a Call to Action (CTA)? and turn leads into customers.
Landing Page V.S. Home Page?
The main difference between a homepage and a landing page is that the latter is designed to have fewer links. A homepage of a website may have many links to click on to explore things such as its products, mission, and values, or review its terms of services. A landing page will typically have very few links as it's designed to navigate a customer directly to make a purchase through a call to action.?

Here are some good landing page examples that I really like:?
Dockers ?
This landing page from Dockers pops up less than 6 seconds after you land on the site. What I like about it is that its call to action is for a user to sign up for its newsletter. Instead of a plain request to sign up, the brand offers 20% off and free shipping on a customer's first order. Additionally, it tells the customer what they can expect from signing up, emphasizing promos and exclusives At this point, the customer is most likely in the consideration phase of the customer journey. Enticing them with a 20% discount helps move them into the purchase part of the funnel. Email newsletter l sign ups are great ways for a brand to build report with new potential customers, and they also inform current customers of new promos and sales.?
This email landing page from Fabletics is a great example of attractive content that entices customers to make a purchase through their newsletter.? As I previously mentioned, email sign-ups are great for informing current and potential customers of current sales. What's great about this page is that they're signaling that they are offering 70% off everything in big capped letters. The use of neon green against a black background makes it “pop” even more to emphasize the discount. The call to action is the “SHOP THE SALE” button which takes a customer directly to a page where they can make a purchase.?
