UGC also creates a bank of consumer thoughts and opinions. Through observing UGC we can easily build a sentiment analysis
Games like Call of Duty have UGC at a mass scale, however, that doesn’t stop competitors from making a name for themselves as well.
Looking at the game Valorant we can observe how a brand-new game, can become a viral sensation. At first, the game creators gave specific codes to influencers to broadcast the game on Twitch. This generated some interest in the game. Following this, only viewers of the streams could apply for a game code, which incentivised users to watch these streams and learn more about the game. Additionally, through streaming the game, Valorant provided extra paid incentives, similar to an affiliate program

INFLUENCERS AND UGC
Influencers are the key to successful UGC. They act as key opinion leaders that can lead a community in a specific direction. Through CTAs and incentives, consumers are converted through their para-social relationship
UGC isn’t limited to games. We often see UGC in makeup and beauty, where consumers review and discuss their favourite products. UGC is a scalable and interchangeable tool that marketers can take advantage of and use across any sector.
