What Type of Player are You?

Here is a better question: What type of player do you want to be?
In life, you, the performer, unknowingly get ranked by your peers based on your professional productivity and your personal traits.
If you have ever found yourself receiving a ton of recruiting phone calls, then it is likely you are an A or B player. On the contrary, if you are not receiving those recruiting calls, then you are likely a C player.
Have you ever stepped back and done a business overview of yourself? Have you taken the time to identify your weaknesses and wonder how you can become an A player?
If you want to be at the TOP of your game..... you have to know EXACTLY where you stand amongst your competition.
You may be a C Player if:
- You don’t know what you want and have no concrete goals
- Complain
- Break under the pressures of adversity
- You are always looking for someone to save you
- You set low standards and always take the easy route
- Adopt the “get rich quick” mentality and like making a quick dollar
- Live in a scarcity mentality
- Compare yourself to others
- You are adverse to change
- Believe the company or others owe you something
You may be a B Player if:
- You have experienced success – but it is inconsistent
- Not certain on your “why” but have an idea
- You have goals, but you only work/meet them 50% of the time
- Fear becoming a C Player
- Comfortable where you are and avoid risk
- Seek accountability when it is convenient to you
- You like a team atmosphere and don’t want to venture out on your own
- Adopt the warrior/hunter mentality when you put in the effort
- Not afraid of the grind and hustle, but you do not love the process
- You foster an accepting mentality
You may be an A Player if:
- Look for growth opportunities
- Constantly challenging yourself to be better
- You know exactly what you want and how to achieve it
- Adopt an abundant/happy mentality
- Succeed no matter what – Failure is not an option
- Set high standards for yourself and others around you
- You view competition as worthy opponent and a challenge to bring out your best
- You own your business and brand
- Association and legacy matters
What type of player are you?
More importantly, what is holding you back from reaching your FULL POTENTIAL?
If you think you're a C PLAYER or a B PLAYER and want to become an A PLAYER....don't be discouraged.
With discipline, determination, and the right skill set you can quickly rise in ranks and PLAY at the level you feel you deserve....
Most importantly you need the right MENTOR....
...a MENTOR that equals your drive to take your business to the next level...
...holds you ACCOUNTABLE
….and has the knowledge and expertise to make you SUCCESSFUL.
Not suprising that the attributes above hold true not only in the BUSINESS world but your PERSONAL LIFE as well...
The A PLAYER in the work place uses the same skill set to make him successful in his relationships at home....
I can help you break free of the workplace roller coaster and help you re-align the beliefs you have about yourself...
You deserve to be playing at the A level and you need someone that has as much skin in the game for your success to guide you there....
Someone that is invested in YOU....
Take the next step to invest in your journey, which is an investment in yourself, your success, and your life.

6 年Well said Brian Covey! Ahh yes the big differentiation of leadership. The older I get the more clearly I can see the seasons of my life where leadership it was lacking. Most look for the sage on stage when they actually need the guide by their side to maximize their potential.
