What Type of Pella Windows Do You Have? Here’s How to Find Out!
Darryl Mundo
Taking the pain & confusion out of finding the perfect window or door for your home.
In my role as a Pella Brand Ambassador, one of the most common scenarios I encounter is customers visiting the showroom looking for replacement parts for their windows. The initial step is to identify the specific type of window they own and find the product's serial number.
Many times, customers are unsure how this is done, which is completely normal. The trick lies in knowing how to locate this information, which varies based on the window's type and age. Allow me to guide you through a simple process to achieve this.
THE THREE PLACE THE PELLA SERIAL NUMBER IS FOUND
BETWEEN THE GLASS PANELS: Examine the metal spacer frame situated between the glass panes for a label, which is typically located in one of the upper corners.
WINDOW SERIAL NUMBERS
ENTRY DOOR SERIAL NUMBERS

ON THE GLASS: For windows acquired between 1997 and 2008, please verify the presence of a unit ID label affixed to the glass, ensuring it is not mistaken for the glass etching.
ON THE SILL: For windows acquired prior to 1997, check the sill for a stamp located roughly 2 to 4 inches from one of the corners.
I'VE SEARCHED FOR IT AND STILL CAN'T FIND IT...
No problem at all! Labels can be tricky to spot or might even peel off. Another option is to snap some photos of the window and send them to your closest showroom.
