7 个月Deanna Russo this is a great topic. I love that you really draw out the point that you need to start with what people need or have in common. I always find it is really important to try and figure out first what the gap is that I might have with someone. How can both of us close the gap and build a bridge to relationship. I love that being personal on purpose can have a great effect on gaining new clients. I love being curious about people and then finding out if there is a way to help first. People don't care about what you know until you prove to them that you care about them.

7 个月I love that this illustrates the value in being yourself and not trying to second guess what posts are going to bring in the gravy Deanna! I think the other thing I'd stress is that nurturing relationships with a smaller group of potential clients tends to outperform trying to get inbound enquiries from posting content. I've just been interviewing 180+ B2B business owners and the proportion getting lots of inbound enquiries from posting is tiny vs. those getting interest through being more proactive. Good food for thought!

7 个月You read my mind cousin! I just started posting for my business and this is a question I asked myself. Adding a nice human touch is definitely key! I am debating also posting from my business and then sharing on my personal profile or the opposite. So much to learn here. ??
