DARKNESS: Some of use the phrase… “I’ve been left in the dark of that…” We do that without giving much thought as to what we’re really saying; and the subsequent impact on our life.
And, often enough… we find ourselves… “really in the dark”… as to what our future might be, how to achieve success, how to keep “Momma happy,” how to compete in the business world, how to recognize the real-leader from the-wanna-be-leader, how to influence our peers into understanding that we are leadership material, and how to get management to recognize our accomplishments…and, how to get a raise out of them… in the process?
If you’re in the DARK on these types of questions… than likely… you’ll remain in the dark. The fact is… we are born blind, and we are offered sight through the Power of God. The problem is, however, too often, we reject it… the “gift of light.”
John 8:12 - Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
What type of “light” is there… that is, seemingly, always available… yet rejected? Sight is a “gift”…..be ALERT to its presence…the presence of the Holy Spirit…WORKING in our lives.
1 John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin.
