A Truss Designer is a professional in architecture in the construction industry who develops truss systems for commercial and residential buildings.

Working as a truss designer involve specialized skills and duties, is beneficial to work in an entry-level architecture or design job where you can learn about the position from established professionals and receive training in the specifics of truss design.

Truss designer Salary and Job outlook:

  • While there is no information specifically for a truss designer, the national average salary of a CAD designer in the United States is $55,000 per year. In addition to full-time employee benefits such as health insurance, stock options, 401K, paid time off, and bonus incentives.
