What the top 1% do to grow their business and move the needle

Why is it that some people struggle with scaling their ad spend while it is just so easy for others?

Everyone is entitled to the same traffic sources but results vary over a big spectrum - hmmm....

With some saying that: 

- Online advertising is too competitive now and too difficult to solve 

- CPMs and traffic is too expensive

- I'm not spending enough and want to be spending 10x on what I'm currently spending 

What are the top 1% doing that others do not? 

Step by step, they are - 

Able to SYSTEMISE and STRUCTURE everything so that you know exactly how much you are putting in and extracting out. 

- Solving COLD TRAFFIC Acquisition

- Aim to BREAKEVEN or do minimum 2x ROI on a frontend offer 

- Scale aggressively on Retargeting 

If I know I can spend up to $40 to acquire a customer, optimise for this metric when killing and launching those ad sets. 

Knowing your numbers allows you peace of mind to scale and outbid everybody else in the marketplace, you won't be making quick irrational decisions, anymore.

Because your competitors won't even stand a chance in the bid auctions - you'll ultimately be the ONLY option to your customers, because it seems like wherever they turn.

You are the ONLY option in the market.

Not forgetting that fundamentals of marketing has got to do with...

Understanding what your customer wants - putting an irresistible offer and putting it in front of your customers.

Avoid the vanity metrics, the data for a second, and focus on consumer psychology and the needs of the customer. 

What does my customer care about and how can I help solve their problems?

Am I speaking the same language as my customers and are they aware of my solution?

Line up the holy trinity:

- Understanding your numbers

- Crafting the offer 

- Putting your offer in front of your target customers

And start growing your company.

You’re right Jonathan Ng about needing to be aggressive with the retargeting. In order to make budgets go further and ROIs higher I make sure that once the ad account starts performing okay, I’ll make sure to setup automated nurturing sequences using a combination of both messenger bots and email automation. This allows me to: 1) Get more touch points without incurring any extra cost 2) Gives me a way of sending RT Ads to segmented audiences depending on what content they’ve consumed 3) Keep audiences warm with clients who’s products/services have a long sales cycle. Keep up the good content buddy!
