Would you spend it in a meaningful and fulfilling way? There are 7 intentions to consider:
?? Express gratitude: Thank people for their efforts and appreciate each person's role in your life today. Its impact is that you leave behind a sense of appreciation that their efforts matter and are not invisible from the person that bags your bagel or groceries to the stranger you held the door for. These acts are small but are not lost on each person.
?? Connect with loved ones: Spend quality time with family and friends, cherishing their presence and engaging in meaningful conversations, sharing stories, and expressing your love and appreciation for them.
?? Engage in self-reflection: Take time for introspection, contemplating your life journey, and identifying the lessons and growth you have experienced. This would allow you to make peace with any regrets or unfinished business and focus on the positive aspects of your life.
?? Pursue passions; be happy: Engage in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Whether it's walking outdoors, playing music, writing, painting, or engaging in any other creative pursuit, immerse yourself in the things that make you feel alive and connected to your inner self.

?? Help others: Knowing that it's your last day, seek opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of others, whether it's offering support to those in need or simply spreading kindness and love by saying good morning or hello to someone walking down the street, etc. Strive to leave a positive mark on the world. ?
?? Embrace nature: Spend time outdoors, taking in the beauty and smells of nature. It could be taking a peaceful walk in a park, enjoying lunch outside, feeling the wind on your face, enjoying the serenity of a beach, or hiking in the mountains. Connecting with nature would allow you to find solace, appreciate the world's wonders, and feel at peace.
?? Be present in each moment: Throughout the day, don’t take things for granted; savor each minute from the taste of food, the warmth of someone’s voice, the color of someone’s eyes, or the shape of their smile, appreciate the warmth of someone’s voice, and relish the joy and beauty of the world around you. This helps you cultivate a sense of gratitude and find peace in the present moment.
You would have focused on love, connection, patience, gratitude, and finding meaning in each experience, leaving a legacy of kindness and positivity.
Why don’t you live this way every day? In each moment, you have a choice. Will you leave behind kindness and positivity? Imagine if everyone sprinkled these 7 intentions into their daily lives; we would all be happier.

1 年What a great post Mary-Katherine McCarey. You are right that this is similar to what I posted about today. So often we are caught up in the daily grind and in the presuure that we don't stop to just enjoy ourselves and we forget to invest time and energy in the people and causes that are the most important to us.
