What Time of Day do you Golf?
Golf is played in daylight hours, on most courses. Tee sheets typically start booking around 630AM which gives the greens crew a chance to get ahead of the players, so the greens are cut and the course is properly prepped for the day.
The fastest rounds of the day are played first thing in the morning – there is no slow play in front of you. Players here get in 9 holes in 1 hour, and 18 holes in 2 hours?15 mins. Walking. The course is designed for walkers to find a path from the green to the next tee. Shortcuts work.
By the time noon approaches, the slower players have managed to bring pace of play back to our posted times – 2 hours for 9, 4 hours for 18. But that is still a good pace.
Later in the afternoon, play thins again, and the speed picks up, helping those wanting 18 holes after 5PM to get them done in daylight.
What time of the day do you like to play – and why?

1 年Hi Don I like to golf and have wee bit socialization as we make progress and share pars and birdies and you know other stuff , but that slows done the 2- 3 hour rounds early morning rounds . Lake swim is really early and or later after dinner . We are flexible. Must get a few MH hats /shirts , but please less floral colours and prints Unless deep discount and good sizes , you know , for guys . It causes a stir with wearing . Fun rounds from new shirts ( tops ) . best wishes. Tom DILWORTH.

1 年When I play Muskoka Highlands, I'd say about 10:30 AM- need to have a lake swim, coffee and then drive over. Great chipping spot and the greens are always a nice , true speed. Have met so many interesting people in my walks at Muskoka Highlands and once in a while pick up one of their hats/golf shirts. Love the new floral shirts from last year. Look forward to seeing everyone for season 2023.
