What TAKING IT EASY is NOT!!

Taking it easy is none of the following:

1.?????Giving up on a difficult goal

2.?????Relinquishing your responsibility

3.?????Finding a scapegoat and relaxing yourself

4.?????Using cheap tricks and getting your work done from someone else (while retaining the credit)

5.?????Running away from a situation that you need to face up to

6.?????Pretending to others and self that there is nothing to be concerned about (whereas the reality is quite different)

7.?????Indulging in drinking, substance abuse in the name of chilling out

Instead, TIE is a technique/methodology which allows you to maybe take a pause, reflect, think through your options and choose the best one, to be able to deal with the situation at hand, without losing sight of your final goal. It allows you the space to alter your view of the situation so as to break it down into simpler and smaller steps. It also allows you the opportunity to understand/appreciate the emotions/logic of the other stakeholders involved so you can cater to them. Obviously, you want to use this time to separate your own emotions from logic and make a logically sound decision.

So, Taking it Easy can really help you in increasing your productivity and achieve much better results than otherwise.
