The Americas Health Rankings 2017 Annual Report was released on December 12, 2017. The report, which is in its 28th year, provides an annual state ranking based on a number of important health and social indicators This report shows wide variation by state in the conditions needed to have a healthy population. Why should it be that people can expect to live longer, healthier lives based on where they live? What will it take to close the gap?
