What is the Study Support Service? #4

The CRN provides a range of services for all studies eligible for support on the?CRN Portfolio, regardless of location, study type, study size, therapy or research area. Whether your study is medical, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, bio-tech or is looking at healthy populations of people with social care needs, we can help.?

Over the past few weeks we have described in more detail some of our study support services.?In this edition, we are focusing on?Optimising Delivery*?- one of the most used services.?

  1. Early Contact and Engagement??
  2. Early Feedback
  3. Site Identification
  4. Optimising Delivery *
  5. Effective Study Set-up
  6. Performance Monitoring?

For new non-commercial studies, our team uses this information to undertake a Network delivery assessment, utilising local expertise to identify any study challenges which may affect your delivery to time and target - considering a whole network perspective. For example, we may identify staff training or specialist equipment that should be made available to support your study.??

The outputs of the national assessment will be communicated through the Effective Study Start-Up and Study Performance Monitoring processes where required. Measures to address any challenges identified by our Optimising Delivery team will be discussed, agreed and implemented.

If you need help with investigators, site set-up, or recruitment issues, contact our Industry Operations Manager Dr?Ginette Hoare?for support.
