What Story is Simmering in Your Mind?

Take a breathe. Close your eyes. Exhale.
What experience comes to mind first? I call that experience your "Simmering Story."
It's usually a moment or theme in our lives that keeps playing in our minds or showing up in our lives.
I was at a holiday party last night and a woman asked me how I work with story as an intuitive AND a writer!
I told her I could feel the energy of a story! She was so curious about that. When I talk about my gift as a intuitive storyteller trainer, my body starts to sway! I love it actually!
I told her that when I'm working with a client, a lot of my job comes down to asking the right questions. I go on a treasure hunt in a lot of ways. I can feel things in my body and know when I'm onto something within the conversation with my client. I'll gently lead us down an avenue that eventually leads to a story I know they should tell. That's one way I feel the energy.
The other way has to do with a story block. That energy is a bit harder for me AND for them! When that client has a hard time expressing that story, it gets stuck in their throat or that space between their heart and throat. I can pick up on that as an intuitive. I clear my throat a lot, my heart races and my body gets hot.
It's why I named that phase in a storytellers journey as their "Simmering Story!"
That particular story should come to light. It doesn't necessarily need to be told to the masses, but that story is supposed to be expressed, healed and addressed somehow. We do a lot of journaling, writing, editing and talking about the "Simmering Story" until the client feels it's been dealt with.
I think my greatest gift is that I can feel when a client has a "Simmering Story."
So, what story are you stopping from coming out?
What is your "Simmering Story?"
If I can help you express, address and heal it I'd love to talk about it.
Ditch the Writer's Doubt could be your first step in healing, addressing and expressing your "Simmering Story."
Sending you lots of love and light today!
