EPIC Tip
When we asked in a recent Elevate survey 'how do you rate your asking skills' only 13% said excellent.
So what is so difficult about asking? What stops us from asking? The main reason we hear is because we are afraid we will be told no.
Here's the thing - the answer is always no until you ask!
EPIC Thought

EPIC Trivia
Have you ever heard of Shirley Baker? She was a British photographer and would have loved to have been a press photographer, but as she couldn’t be a member of the union as a woman, she couldn’t get a press card. So Shirley forged her own path, taking images of street scenes in working class areas of Greater Manchester, England. To begin with, no one was interested in her work as they were not viewed as fashionable. She did not let this stop her. She continued asking for her portraits to be published, eventually working as a writer and photographer on various magazines, books and newspapers. She also had two books of her photographs published in her lifetime. Nine years after her death, a new book 'Shirley Baker: 1960–1980s', celebrates her work.
Until next time,
Stay EPIC!!
