What is a Springbok?

We put a lot of thought into our name. We are super fast, agile, can scale and process vast amounts of data. An African Springbok is extremely fast and can reach speeds of 100 km/h (62 mph) and can leap (13 feet) through the air. In order to survive Springbok's make fast decisions. The common name "springbok" comes from the Afrikaans and Dutch words spring = jump and bok = male antelope or goat. We also love orange and black because that is the color of San Francisco Giants and we are based out of San Francisco in Silicon Valley. We have pride for our team and team spirit. In Europe, Springbok is associated with rugby. We realized that most Europeans would instantly see our name and understand its meaning. However, since we didn't want to look like a rugby team when we are out and about. (Although that is pretty cool.)
