WHAT IS – “THE SOURCE” -
The word ‘SOURCE’ is being extensively used in spiritual literature or otherwise also. I also use it in my writing quite often. Yesterday one of my students questioned me – ‘Sir what do we mean by ‘Source’. It was a very basic question but was to be answered. The word ‘SOURCE’ in past five years has itself evolved. It was a substitute for ‘GOD’ – the interpretation in the new context – The Divine Energy. It is the power of the infinite; the creatorship of existence; the source of Law of Attraction; the divine doer; it is the power of deliberate practice of creativity; source design of creativity etc etc – N number of definitions have been given. The latest frontier of defining – THE SOURCE – is in NEUROSCIENCE – THE HUMAN BRAIN. The source draws on the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience to help you unlock the power of the incredible and complex thing that is your whole brain. By visualising your intentions, understanding how to attract the things you really want and becoming conscious pathways of your mind, you have the capacity to live fully, boldly and without regret. Tap into THE SOURCE and unlock your true potential today.
The new thought process on THE SOURCE – says – we all have the power to lead the lives we want to for ourselves. That’s because the things we most wish for – health, happiness, wealth, love – are not governed by mysterious forces, but by our ability to think, feel and act; in other words by our brains.
The million dollar question is – your brain has 86 billion neurons, each of them poised to drive your responses to the world around you. But is your mind focussed on your deepest wishes and values – or is it running on auto pilot ??
The Source is the incredible, complex and sophisticated thing that is our whole brain - not just the cortex and our planning and data-driven decision-making abilities. The true power of the brain lies in being able to integrate what we think with how we feel- the cortex and the limbic system together - with what our gut tells us and what we sense throughout our entire bodies. This creates an experience of life of which we can take true ownership; one that is filled with a trust in our own amazing ability to navigate circumstances with every part of us aligned and fully immersed.
Life does not have to be about fear and half-measures or what ifs and regrets. We each have the capacity in our brains to live life fully, boldly and without shame or sadness. I have come to learn, through the combination of my cultural heritage in my upbringing and experiences of life that if we access the full potential of our brains, we can live life very, very differently to the way we have before today.
At the heart of The Source is developing a level of awareness about our neural pathways and the patterns in their activity that dictate how we unconsciously react to triggers and events - like losing our temper versus shutting down, comfort eating or reaching out for help. Becoming more aware of our responses and behaviour can help us shape our-reactions to the challenges we encounter in our lives. This awareness of our own mental state and that of others governs our most complex and critical social interactions: to make sense of the cognition of others is known as 'theory of mind' and we use this to interpret, understand and predict the actions of those around us.
Developing what I would like to call from whatever knowledge I have of psychology - metacognition, or 'thinking about thinking', and becoming 'aware of one's awareness', rather than functioning on autopilot is one of the main objectives of The Source. Metacognition encompasses all of our memory-monitoring and self-regulation, consciousness and self-awareness - crucial capacities to regulate our own thinking and maximise our awareness and our potential to learn and change.
There is a stepwise programme to fully awaken the brain and own your fullest potential as a product of a long-standing neuroscientific and psychiatric understanding of the brain, updated with cutting-edge cognitive science. You can combine this with a healthy measure of esoteric and spirituality based supports. Then you will explore, in detail, the neuroscience behind your ability to 'create' your future - the law of attraction and how you can train your brain to 'manifest' your dreams. You can also look at the power of visualisation informed by twenty-first century science and why it works, as well as what happens inside the brain when you proactively channel positive thoughts. We will delve into how using action boards to focus your intentions will allow you to construct a life that is true to your innermost needs and aspirations. The result is a potent cocktail that will reboot your thinking and motivation, and halt negativity in its tracks.
The Source and You
Time has come to formulate a – NEW DESIGN OF LIFE – where science and spirituality merge in each other. I promise that the way of design would be open-minded and practical. I want you to be able to wake up your brain and unlock its full potential so that you can make of life what you really want, turn off that autopilot and make the decisions necessary to move forwards. We all suffer from negative thought patterns and behaviours, from habits that make life easier but aren't helpful to our happiness, and from emotions that limit our life choices; but if they are determining how you live, then you need to find a way past them. This is your chance to fully engage with your deepest needs and desires, and to make life happen for you, not to you. I don’t want to go into detail on whole dynamics which is behind the working of – THE SOURCE – in this fb post. But there is a whole mechanics behind the psychosomatic dynamics of our brain.
Some quotes for FUN for our BRAINS – THE SOURCE.
‘And yet the menace of the years ; Finds, and shall find, me unafraid …… I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul.’ – Invictus, William Ernest Henley.
‘ Whether you think you can or you think you can’t – you’re right’. – Henry Ford.
I would like to end this post by what I wrote this morning reflecting on – THE SOURCE – I read it somewhere long back but don’t remember now –
ATTRACT WHAT YOU EXPECT, REFLECT WHAT YOU DESIRE, BECOME WHAT YOU RESPECT, MIRROR WHAT YOU ADMIRE. THIS IS THE VIRTUE AND MEANING OF - THE SOURCE.
UNSELF YOURSELF – and you become the SOURCE
MUCH LOVE – That is the state of the SOURCE
