What are the signs that your Strategy / Change / Project is not going that Smoothly?

Around 70% of projects, change initiatives, and strategies fail to achieve their intended outcome. Research has also shown that, over the last 20 years, the field of project and change management has experienced increasing layers of processes, tools, governance, compliance and oversight.? Yet these activities and products have done nothing to improve success rates.

It's time to think differently. It's time for a new approach.

Are you finding that your projects, change and strategy intiatives experience one or more of the following:

  • ·????????Schedule delays
  • ·????????Cost overruns
  • ·????????Staff demotivation and disengagement
  • ·????????Frustration and burnout
  • ·????????Change fatigue
  • ·????????Ill-prepared user community

The challenge is, you can't fix execution failure by fixing things at this level. Execution failure is not a "people" problem - it's a "system" problem.

The thing is, Change has Changed. Change today is Complex , Continuous, Transformational, Simultaneous, Interrelated, and Unpredictable.?This kind of change is defined as “a series of overlapping, never-ending, planned, and unplanned changes that are interdependent, difficult to execute, and either can’t — or shouldn’t — be ignored.” It cannot be "managed" by way of a variety of linear change initiatives. Change today needs new "mindsets", and cannot be "plugged into" the mindsets that worked in the past.

And this is where the OKR Framework fits in. The OKR Framework fits between the plans and the execution projects. It helps decide which projects need to be prioritised, and it measures the "outcomes" of the projects to ensure that the goals and objectives are being achieved. It's the "missing link" between Plan and Execution.

Where can you use the OKR Framework? It can be used in any situation where change is required - be it strategy execution, digitalisation, new HR strategy, marketing, sales. And, it can be used in small teams, or across the entire organisation.

If you have goals that you have to achieve - the OKR Framework is the tool for you. Contact me if you would like to know:

·????????How OKRs help to lead an organisation through a hard time

·????????How different teams handle goal management internally

·????????What managing an OKR process really means.

You can set up a 45 minutes session with me in which we will explore your specific change issues, what your objectives are, and how the OKR Framework and I can help address the issues and achieve your objectives.

Here is a link to my diary to set up time to meet - https://bit.ly/3nQZSYs.

I look forward to talking to you.
