What Will She Hide Behind Next?

My supervisor is a businesswoman. In other news, Bo Diddley is a Gunslinger. There was a lot of work that was neglected. I was willing to help out. She was given the word that everyone had to be off the clock.

Imagine if you are in traffic and you are late for a meeting. You prepared and left on time. There was an accident that slowed everything down. You don't simply abandon your car and walk to the meeting. That creates another traffic jam.

Work does not finish itself. Certain supervisors not only work slowly, they play on their phones when there is work in front of them. I work all the time and am resented for this fact. They feel someone else can do the work.

They have the ability. Why call someone over who is busy when I can finish what I was doing? This supervisor who hides behind safety (not having the first clue what emotional safety is) hides behind Christianity while there is nothing divine about the methods and now hides behind being a "Businesswoman" to justify having me not help finish- if we were in a foxhole they would probably not give us cover thinking they could make more money and please their bosses without us.

Another supervisor had me stay. This final project took seven minutes. He took packages in one direction, I took them in the other. There is a job to do. I am not trying to impress anyone. Believe me, I don't.

Management cares about their numbers. Not enough to work consistently so we could finish earlier. I care about the pride of a job well done. I am not afraid to die on this hill. They hate me because I help others.

Remember- my father hated me because I was nice to my sister when she was a baby. I wasn't loving to a family member to bother anyone. They expected comparable homage. Makes you wonder who was more helpless.

I helped my sister at a young age, I help colleagues so they don't have to run around creation. The supervisor seems to find fault with everything I do. I have receipts and can justify every move made. She never says anything when people are playing with their phones or coming to work late every day.

She can call herself a businesswoman. She most certainly is not a leader.
