Self-care is the best investment.
Self-care is a crucial part of looking after yourself, as well as others. When you practice self-care you produce positive feelings, which boosts motivation and self-esteem leaving you with increased energy to support yourself as well as your loved ones. Self-care starts with tending to your own needs. Practicing self-care does not mean you are choosing yourself over your loved ones. It means that you are simply being mindful of your own needs, so you are taking care of yourself so that you can take care of others in a better way.
Benefits of self-care are better physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being. Self-care allows you to establish a positive mindset that will translate to good feelings and emotions for others around you.
