- Scrum Masters remove impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, foster a collaborative and self-organizing environment, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. In addition to their role as servant leaders, they also do their best to understand the language of communication within the scrum team. This does not mean they have to be technically sound but basic technical knowledge of the team's dynamics is required.?
