What to say on LED signs?

"How many lines of copy?" is the #1 question from new LED shoppers!

Since 2008, LED advertising has been my work and testing various messages and observing the results clients and our signs achieve, is my hobby. 

LED signs and billboards have a short impression window of 2-5 seconds. A proper question "How many words should I display, 1 or 2"? Huh?

Correct question! 1 or 2 words should be the maximum, yet I see people telling a life story on 1 slide. You can do that, just keep changing slides.

So, what has worked? A new hotel in Ohio at Turnpike exit rented Advertiser v2 45 days and displayed this: "Now Open" which filled his rooms fast most nights.

More recent, a Gas Station is using a variation "Drivethru NOW OPEN" to promote their hidden NEW drive thru. It worked, by 3rd day, this simple message was bringing 45 customers per day in the new Drivethru!

• Fast
• Smile
• Phone number
• walk in
• Welcome
• In parades: "GOD Bless America" on 2 slides, always gets applause.
