Cherry blossoms opening
Spring has sprung in New York City! Only open for a few weeks, cherry blossom trees can be found all over New York. One of the best places to see them is in Central Park, specifically along the Jackie Onassis Reservoir. Peak bloom is usually mid-April, but keep an eye on the local news for more information about when they’ll open.
Pickleball in Central Park
With the arrival of spring comes the return of everyone’s new favorite sport - pickleball! The pickleball courts in Central Park reopen on April 7th through the beginning of October. Each court at Central Park can accommodate four to eight people. Full-price court rental options range from $80-$120 total per hour, depending on reservation time. Don't have a paddle? No problem - you can rent them there for $6.

Another staple of the warm weather months to come is Smorgasburg, which will reopen March 31 at the World Trade Center and April 1-2 in Williamsburg and Prospect Park.
