Do you remember in school when you raised your hand if you wished to participate? It was part of a structured dialogue framework we learned as children.?
In today's marketing world, it's easy to forget to connect with our audiences before all else.? We skip the relationship-building and interest phases and jump directly into hard selling.?
The ‘Raise Your Hand’ strategy was coined by ActionCoach founder Brad Sugars and has now been picked up by thousands of businesses around the world. So what makes this approach so special?
Not everyone is a customer of yours. That's a good thing since you can't reach out to everyone. You want to match your services with an audience who is most likely to purchase what you have to offer. Although receiving credit for your marketing activities is wonderful, you don't want people to say, "Wow! What a fantastic campaign!" and then go about their day, completely forgetting about you and your business. You want them to raise their hand and say: “Yes! This is exactly what I need. I want in!"
So how exactly can you achieve that? By providing an offer and a unique call to action. Ensure your offer gives specific value to your audience and counteracts their pain points. Your call to action should be advanced, in the way that the audience has to do something specific to receive this offer.?
