What Is A Quantity Of Life Worth, Without Quality

Quantity of life and quality of life are two very different things.?

Quality is measured by a state of being.?

Quantity of life is defined by how many years you live.?

It might sound simple, but this is something I have thought about for a long time.?

It always boggled my mind when I heard people say they wanted to live until 100.?

What does that even mean?

Why is that your goal?

Is it to simply see how the world evolves??

Is it a fear of death?

It makes me think about the fragility of life. If I died tomorrow, what would my quality of life be defined by??

I've seen people live more fulfilled lives in 40 short years than some 90-year-olds I know.?

I mean, if you live 100 years without a purpose, is it really worth living?

I would rather die tomorrow knowing that I lived my life to the fullest. Knowing I was the best husband and father I could be; that I worked hard and did it my way.?

When my time comes, I want to leave knowing that I maximized the time I had.?

I laughed, I lived, I loved, I cried and, most of all, I worked hard while living what I think my purpose is.?
