Rocket propellant is usually stored in some form in large quantities in a propellant container and ejected from a rocket engine in large quantities as a fluid jet, generating thrust for propulsion. The fuel propellant is often burned with an oxidizer propellant to produce large quantities of very hot gases, which expand and are ejected from a nozzle, accelerating and rushing out of the base of the rocket to generate thrust until the rocket reaches very high speeds. Sometimes the propellant is not burned, but can be heated externally to achieve better results. For smaller experimental thrusters, compressed gas is ejected through a propulsion nozzle to propel the spacecraft
As i know rocket propellant could seperate 5 kinds as bellow:
1.Solid propellants
2.Liquid propellants
3.Hybrid propellants
4.Electric propellants
5.Nuclear propellants
But which one are the best?
