AI will have impact on demand for work in both the directions. Demand will go up for some work, and demand will go down for some other work.

Union Finance Secretary?of India, T.V. Somanathan ?said ?in Sep-2024 that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can replace the work being done by auditors and accountants. AI has been continuously improving ?in the intervening period and looking at the progress so far, by 2027 AI will be doing more than 50 % work of ?B. com. ?and by ?2030 AI will do more than 50 % of work that CA / CMA does today. If those persons do not learn new work, there will be huge unemployment. ?The question is what work the CA / CMA will do after 2030 ? What they should learn today so that they can command high market value beyond 2030 ?

And this is not only applicable to CA/ CMA. It is applicable to all professionals – Doctors, layers, Scientist, Ph. D., authors, Any professions, whose work require brain or intelligence, more than 50 % of their work will be done by AI by 2030 or 2035. Many of them amy be unaware of it or may not believe it but those who are observing of speed at which AI is progressing, will agree to this point. In this situation, the same question is relevant for them also: What skill they should learn today so that they continue to command high market value in years to come ?

To plan what I should learn, I took help if AI itself. I asked the AI model o1-Preview (which is available in paid ChatGPT account) to guide me in this area. The model o1-Preview is very intelligent and knowledgeable so that it can give better advice than most of human beings. With its help, we can do planning for learning in much better way than what we can do without it. ?I am sharing the link below with all of you.
