What Profession you will choose?

Have you ever imagined that if you are not in current profession what you are in right now…what you would be doing then?
Do you remember, when someone ask about what do you want to be when you grew up? 99% children just quote Doctor, Engineer, Lawyer.......that’s it!
They don’t look for other professions. These are the respectable professions for people. But that doesn't mean the other professions are not respectable, they are equally respectable. But our mindset was like that, not sure about the modern parents now.
Will they accept if their children want to become a chef, carpenter, cyclist, or any he/she chooses any other profession.
May be this aged people have grown up now and accepting the other career options for their kids.
Just think if Sachin Tendulkar's parents also wanted him to become a doctor or engineer, will India get "God of Cricket" or if Lata Mangeshkar's parents wanted her to become a lawyer, will India get a "Brilliant Singer"...your answer.......No.
Encourage your kids to follow their passion. Let them become whatever they want. No work is small or big. Don't work for society, just work for self.
So, if may I ask you, if you are not doing your current job than what you would be today. It's not about what you thought to become, it’s about what you will be now if you are not at CEO or Director of a company or an engineer - would you be following your passion or just doing what your parents would be doing it.
It would be fun …isn’t it…tell me if you are not in current profession then what you would be doing? ??
