What is product ownership?

I have been a Product owner for quite some years now. Yet, the role is sometimes not clear to many people.

So, it is historically based on the Agile concept, introduced with the Agile Manifesto (EN / DE) and the Scrum Guide.

In Scrum, the Product Owner (PO) is crucial for maximizing product value. Here’s why:

?? Backlog Management: Defines goals, prioritizes, and maintains a transparent, understandable Product Backlog.

If your organization also has POs, and for them to have a successful environment, you need to make sure:

1. they understand & execute their roles properly
2. ensure the organization supports them in their role
