1. The production process of arc plates is to process the rough materials into arc plates that meet the architectural requirements and have a certain gloss. The following processes need to be completed:

1. Block shaping.

This is the first process of cylindrical arc plate processing. It is necessary to consider the requirements of equipment processing in subsequent processes and to meet the necessary processing allowance in the process. The shaping of the blocks is completed by a disc cutting machine.


2. Cut the arc rough board.

Cutting arc rough board. Use a special arc rough board cutting machine for cutting. The cutting machines currently used include band saw cutting machines, steel rope bead cutting machines, and saw barrel special cutting machines. The saw barrel arc rough board cutting machine is a device with a relatively simple structure and operation, but its flexibility is poor. Although the price of the equipment is low, it will cost a considerable amount of money to equip a sufficient number of saw barrels, which will also increase the amount of investment funds. However, overall comparison of saw barrels for cutting arc plates still has the characteristics of low investment and low maintenance costs.


3. Cutting and polishing of arc rough plates.

During processing, not only must the board surface reach a certain brightness, but also several relevant specifications and dimensions of the board must be controlled. Such as the radius of curvature, the arc length of each arc plate, and the thickness and height of the arc plate. As long as one of the parameters does not meet the requirements, the product will be scrapped. This requires arc plate cutting and polishing operators to have a much higher sense of work responsibility and operating skills.


The polishing of the arc plate is completed by a special pre-plate polishing machine; adjust the polishing allowance, cut with a special blade, correct the outer ring according to a slightly larger arc than the finished plate, and then use an emery grinding head and stones of different grades. Special grinding tools are used for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing, so that its roughness is consistent with the requirements of the finished board and has a certain gloss.


Then, use a cutting blade to cut two knife slits of a certain depth at both ends of the arc plate, so that the effective length of the two knife slits is consistent with the height requirements of the finished plate. Since only both ends of the arc plate are fixed during cutting and polishing, the plate cannot be completely cut when cutting these two slits to avoid accidents caused by the arc plate falling off. The separation of the finished arc plate and the clamped end is carried out after the arc plate is unloaded from the equipment or at the construction site.


4. Jointing of arc plates.

It is also called sewing in the production process. They are the two straight edges of the roughened arc plate removed from the previous process. The burrs are removed on special equipment so that they are two straight lines parallel to each other. On the one hand, the arc length of the arc plate must meet the tolerance requirements; on the other hand, the angle between the arc plate radius and the chord must be a≤(180′- of)/2, to ensure that there will be no occurrences between two adjacent plates during project installation. gap. The seaming work is completed by a special sewing machine. At this point, the arc plate processing is completed, and the necessary repairs can be made before packaging or transportation.


Compared with flat plate processing, arc plate processing has stricter quality requirements. Unqualified products from the previous process must not flow into the next process. The difference between the two is that it cannot recycle small-sized boards, so the utilization of raw materials is relatively low.
