What is precision machining?
Machining method with machining accuracy up to 1 μ M. Precision machining is realized using precision machine tools, measuring tools, and meters under strict environmental conditions. It is called ultra-precision machining when the machining accuracy reaches or exceeds 0.1 μ M.
The technological effect of precision machining is as follows:
The accuracy of geometrical shape and mutual position of parts can reach micron or angular second;
The limit or feature dimension tolerance of the part is below micrometer;
The surface micro unevenness (average height difference of surface unevenness) of parts is less than 0.1 μ m;
The mutual fittings can meet the requirements of combining force;
Some parts can also meet the requirements of precise mechanical or other physical properties;

2 年Great job! May I know what model of CNC machining centre and brand of cutters employed in order to achieve 1 micron tolerances yet maintained its geometrical tolerances.
