What Is The Point of This Mad Rush?

A fine Sunday morning, a moment,
When my little one calls out “papa”,
And looking at her, I got surprised
to see her grown up so much!
A thought crossed my mind,
What was the point
of this mad crazy rush?
of pushing away my dreams?
of not really ever living for myself?
of missing the beautiful moments of her life?
What was the point
of this mad crazy rush?
of running badly but never really arriving?
of treating my body as if it is secondary?
of work always being a bigger priority?
What was the point
of this mad crazy rush?
of not having time to talk to my wife?
of not visiting my parents enough?
of saving for an uncertain future?
of a life, I may never arrive at?
what was the point?
of the mad rush?
There is NEVER a wrong time to stop yourself and ask,
?Am I following borrowed definition of success?
?Am I honestly as outstanding as I thought?
?Am I just an instrument of other people following their dreams?
All the above is true, it happened to me 5 years back.
And I didn’t lie to myself that
“Somehow once this current situation changes, it will be fine.”
Instead I set out to work.
Losing my 16 KG in 16 weeks was a start,
Finishing 2 books a week was the fun part,
Investing on 26 full immersion crazy events was the process,
But it all neatly tied up because I found out where my passion lies.
It is all about my being about bringing others home to their purpose - and doing it with love & connection with wonderfully blessed financial success.
And you know where this get amazing, if it already isn’t.
My little one says “Thank you Papa, for starting this journey for our entire family”
There is a lot more of you.
Do whatever it takes to find your way home to your purpose.
