There are three points performance tests of FPC membrane keypad switches
1,The performance test content of FPC membrane keypad switch mainly includes: adhesion of copper foil, solderability of pads, roundness of pads, screen printing clarity, surface smoothness, circuit connectivity, insulation performance, etc. The appearance, material and performance of the FPC flexible circuit board must be verified.
2,copper foil adhesion refers to the adhesion between the FPC membrane circuit and the substrate. The adhesion of copper foil is small, and the FPC circuit is easy to peel off from the pad substrate, which needs to verified. Adhere the FPC circuit to be tested with clear glue, remove air bubbles, and quickly tear it off in a 90° direction. If the circuit is intact, confirm that the copper foil adhesion of the FPC flexible circuit board is qualified.
3,The solderability test of the pad is the wetting ability of the solder to the printed pad, and it is one of the important indicators of the FPC membrane switch circuit test. Circuit continuity and insulation performance represent the electrical performance indicators of FPC flexible circuit boards. During the test, the high-current shrapnel micro-needle module can be used for connection and conduction, which can effectively transmit large current and maintain a stable connection within the resistance range of 1-50 ohms. It can also deal with small spacing, ensuring that the needle is not stuck between 0.15mm and 0.4mm, and the needle does not stop, so that the FPC flexible circuit board test can be carried out stably.
