What is the People Project?

Given my purpose is to help others find fulfillment and reach their greatest potential, I decided to relaunch the business I started in 2012, the People Project.

People Project’s mission is to build successful companies and fulfilling careers. My immediate plan is two-fold: 1) to provide executive-level retained search for engineering and product leaders 2) to work on strategic initiatives to diversify the tech ecosystem.

My decision to leave Riviera Partners was driven by a desire to align more tightly with some of my core values, including diversity, equity, community, and coaching. In addition to partnering with innovative companies to find top executive (Director, VP, C-level) engineering and product talent, I’ll be working with AllRaise’s Board XCelerate program, a solution for high-growth, private tech companies, tackling the urgent problem of the lack of diversity at the board level.

People are awesome.

The People Project is a platform that allows me the gift of being in service to my community, doing work that energizes me the most, that will have a lasting impact on the tech community. The goal isn’t to build something big, it’s simply to do work that I love. I view my executive recruiting and coaching practice as a gift that helps bring world-changing ideas to life…through its people.
