What is a palindrome?

What is a palindrome?

Could it be some sort of stadium? A place for sports events or rock concerts? Some sort of drone aircraft?

No, a palindrome is none of these things. A palindrome is a language expression. It means that a word looks the same backward and forward.

Examples of English palindromes are: madam, kayak, sexes and radar.

Can you think of other palindromes? In English? In German? Post them in the comments! Let's see what we can all come up with.
