What our students have been up to...
Dignity for Children Foundation
To nurture and empower world changers through transformative education.
It's only the beginning of the year and we're back in full swing! Students are learning in classrooms and the farm, and Dignity is buzzing with visits.
Preschool students are learning math, practical life skills and independence through Montessori hands-on learning.
Our secondary students are back in action - learning hairdressing, sewing, F&B, woodworking, and more!
Our choir had the chance to perform for Singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian (you might know him from his hit "Battle Scars"!) and representatives from the Australia High Commission who visited us!
30 of our young leaders (teachers and students) participated in a 4-day training program led by Manchester City coaches and supported by Xylem.?
The training focused on critical topics like inclusion, adaptation and leadership.
FUNtastic Time at the Farm!
First group of students just returned from 3 weeks of Travel & Learn program at Dignity Farm Academy.?
From caring for animal homes to safeguarding pineapple fields, they learned accountability (waking up early isn't easy!), adaptability, and the strength of teamwork.
The majestic Atlas moth– nature’s living giant - spotted at our farm! Do you know that the beautiful Atlas moth only lives for about 1 to 2 weeks? They are born without the ability to eat and they last on the food reserves they store as caterpillars. These gentle giants have only enough time to mate and lay their eggs during their brief lifespan.
