What are our student-friendly teaching methods?

Teaching methods are ways and approaches that a teacher employs to assist their learners as they learn; a teacher will select the instructional strategies that are most appropriate for the subject being covered, the learner's degree of knowledge, and the phase in their journey of learning.

The following are the most effective student-friendly teaching methods followed by our teachers –

  1. Invoking curiosity - We are all aware of the value of asking students questions to determine their level of understanding of a subject, but there are ways to make your questions in the classroom more effective. To make sure students have a firm understanding of the basics, our instructors encourage students to explain their thinking and offer questions, like - "How else can you come up with this solution?" or "How did you reach this conclusion?" All of these types of inquiries come up regularly throughout our courses.
  2. Constant Deliberate Practice Method - Constant deliberate practice is one of the best methods for teaching new ideas to a group of students since it includes breaking learning down into several smaller abilities that are then each intentionally performed.
  3. Differentiation - Strong and beneficial differentiation at the primary level can be challenging to achieve; it goes beyond just "splitting the full class into separate groups depending on attainment."
  4. Recognition of Efforts - Building a classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning requires assisting students in connecting the dots between exerting effort and receiving praise. Without anything to provide them the drive to do so, encouraging students to put more effort into their activities can only go so far. Students are already motivated by praise and recognition, so it may be quite helpful to change their focus from being accurate to putting on their best foot foward.
  5. Competitive Learning - It has been demonstrated that the idea of "active" collaborative learning, in which students' teams compete against one another has some influence, although care is urged in case students concentrate more on the competition rather than the learning.
