Having provided travel training to HCPs for a number of years and now providing the service myself, I have used and come across a wide variety of electronic consultation tools and paper based options. What I really like about the Nuumad system is it is intuitive, easy to use and directs you as a HCP to all the right advice and clinical decisions. I also, as a pharmacist and lead clinician, like the fact it follows NaTHNaC but presents the recommendations in a way that allows you, as a HCP, to show the risks in a better way. I have now been using NUUMAD for several different types of patients. From the start the customer journey is easy for them to follow. After the consultation, follow on appointments are easy and also if the patient changes their mind or you have to schedule vaccines on another date, you don’t have to fudge the system – it allows you do this easily. I am so impressed with the Nuumad platform to assist with travel health consultations. Travel health can sometimes be complex and risk assessing a patient to determine what vaccinations and/or anti-malarial tablets they may need can often feel overwhelming.?Using Nuumad to guide you through the consultation eases any anxiety you may have and provides a methodical process to make sure you capture all of the relevant information. It's so clever how it recommends what vaccinations etc are required based on the country they're travelling to and the activities they have planned for their trip and obviously the patient still chooses what treatment they want.?It is so easy and enjoyable to use, lovely animations and so much information to print off for the patient too, including advice sheets and a record of any vaccinations that are administered and more. The risk assessment form can be emailed to the patient prior to their appointment, thus saving time for when the patient attends for their appointment.
