What is One of The Greatest Differentials a Professional Could Bring For The Table?

Is a perspective, not a skill — The Reason Why Marketing Can Be Incredible When We Discover What It Really Means

What makes a person different from others?

After all, the more common we are, the easier it is to be replaced

Or, we start fighting for prices, we spend more time working that we really need and of course.

If the only way to be the best and have a contract is outperforming other people. After some time, a good software and big time will outperforme ourselves.

Also, trust me, that is a question and a problem that I see over and over again.

The more mediocre, we probably have a lot less market share than we think we have

So we end up having:

?? Less Emotion Support

?? Less Money

?? More Anxiety, Fear, Insecurity

?? Less People to Network

?? Less Work Opportunities

?? Less Time

?? Less Quality of Life

What Can We Do To Change This Process and Make The Game We Play A Little Different?

What Could Make Our Work Memorable? Our, at least, above 90% of the market if not more

Fun story, when I began some years ago, as a social media, I thought the best way to get clients was to have tons of Instagram profiles with major views numbers.

Recently, I started a Pinterest Project, 2 actually, that has 23k total public reach and over 120k views in 3 months.

Building reach and audience is still one of my major social media skills.

Also, a extremely inefficient and really not that brilliant skill when compared with the next ones

Posting is a mix of quality management + frequency and time, most people can get a lot of views using these 3 elements.

Also if you are your only employee, this process is very time consuming without previous preparation.

But, Marketing is Movement, which means:

Marketing is Building and Creating Opportunities

To do that, there are 4 most known skills, with the hard skill you want to develop (Hard skill -> Copywriting, Ghostwriting, Ad Management, Social Media Management, Blogging, Coaching…)

If you know these 4, congratulations, you are ahead of 90% if not 99% of the market, on an international level.

The skills are:

?? Networking

?? Branding

?? Just the basic of creating a brand identity, not the design one, plus a simple online presence with paid and free content…

As a personal recommendation, create a community, doesn’t matter if it will be Whatsapp, Zoom, Linkedin, Facebook, Circle, just do a simple one with simple rules, try to make it for your potential clients by the way, not just the audience.

Note: The reason is that, you are not posting for views, you are building an online portfolio of why you are good, why people can trust you and why they need to do business with you.

?? Sales Process and Sales Skills (Negotiation, Selling, Persuasion, Communication, Prospect Information…)

?? Lead Generation Process and Strategies

You don’t need to be perfect in any of these four items, just make sure you can create, even if with IA support, a process of actions that make each of these skills apply in a client or audience conversation.

What do these Four Skills Make for Us?

So, when I have content marketing, social marketing, email marketing, paid traffic.

What I’m doing is choose a channel of communication that will help me show up for more people.

But, when I add branding, networking, lead generation, sales, what I gonna do for my clients actually is:

Reach people, clients, competitors, collabs, others niches, that will bring new business opportunities in the form of leads or collaborations.

That is what makes a simple marketing perspective into a profitable business.

We start to focus our time on networking and connect to create new growth opportunities for business and people, using Lead Generation, Networking, Sales and Branding skills.

Not every business by the way, having a well set up brand is important to help you and your client decide where to invest and where not.

With this, you both…

?? Spend less time marketing

?? Spend less money in marketing

?? Having more time to create or improve products and services

?? Have more time to learn and dedicate to your family

?? Build more networking relationships that, regardless of the project or contract, they will continue to serve you in everything you do

Because all of this is the basis of what makes marketing a game of opportunity creation, not only sales.

Plus, you have a clever way to build a constant process of profit based on relationship and opportunity, rather than normal manual processes of posting and see what happens.
