What is Normal ?

As I have discussed with you, we are in the midst of a situation never seen ever before in the world. This is NOT normal times.

We have not returned back to work as NORMAL, we have simply returned to work, normal will only return to us if we ALL fight to make it happen.

             Our survival in the future depends heavily on you & your teams actions. There are NO exceptions, we are in this together.

  Cambodia is fighting with renewed hope now it may regain its duty free status, Vietnam hasn’t stopped for one day but has had cancellations so has eaten its reserves of orders, Bangladesh has hundreds if not thousands of factories all desperate for work, China is back at work and fighting to keep hold of its order book. Old sourcing locations such as Turkey now have new hope as they can be a lot quicker than Bangladesh in turning orders round so will pick up orders from customers wanting to reduce their risk.

  All this means that every sourcing location in the world is now fighting for the same orders as us, every place is saying that they are the best, they are saying they can do it better, quicker, cheaper than us.

 The ONLY way we will be one of the factories that survive & NOT one that will die, will be if we ALL pull together as a team & work in one direction to become better than all the others that want to pinch work from us.

  There is no second place, no third place we have to be better than all. ANY & ALL failures will be used against us by customer or group as reasons to take work from us, to cancel, to reject or to give work elsewhere.

 You cannot imagine the levels of fighting already taking place between sourcing locations to try & take orders from us, we are fighting back but we need RESULTS. My words and promises to customers and group will not work on their own if we don’t get the results, failures in quality, in efficiency, in delivery etc will all make my words become ZERO.

 Please ALL of you pull together, healthily challenge each other, We need positivity from all of you. We need to be one of the few that will survive & this isn’t guaranteed unless you ALL put on us the list of survivors by grasping this opportunity.
