There are few things that I have noticed in recent months. Things that I am sure, if you’re in the expert industry, you’ve been feeling too. Things that are causing those who are just not that good at what they do, to quake in their boots.?
There are three real forces I see in the market right now that are affecting your business…?
Now, before I jump in to what they are, I would love you to pause, for just a moment, and get into the gain not the gap. It is easy to get fixated on the negative trends that are happening right now.?
It is simply a course correction, like you’ll see in any market.?
A chance for the market to get rid of the rubbish and for the amazing to shine.?
And today I am sharing with you how you can be part of the latter.?
Now, back to the 3 Forces - these are 3 things that I see happening to seasoned experts just like you.?
First - what I call The Value Void - this is where some experts are seeing the impact of the AI created, vague and hypey offers that are drowning them out. You’ll know this is you if, everywhere you look, people are telling you that you’ll “unlock” this and “unlock that…” everything starts to blend into one… looking, sounding, feeling the same. It gives me the ick, I’m not going to lie. You have something truly valuable, but with all this noise, well it feels like a treadmill to continue to show up to be seen as The Answer to your people.?
Second - what I have coined Pitch over People - where the bro marketers destroyed the trust of your market with fake promises and your people have been so burned, that they aren’t saying yes to you as easily as they used to. They are jaded.?
And finally - Clickbait Culture - this is where your cost per lead is getting a double hit - the cost of ads are ever increasing and secondly, because of the clickbait culture (where completely unqualified, poor quality leads are opting in for random free stuff) - it means that your email list might be big, but not as many of them are buying from you as you would like.?
Now, I’ll get to what to do about it in just a moment - but for now, can you see how these 3 things are coming together to cause the buyer behaviour in your market to shift??
Good, cause now lets get to what to do about it…
To overcome The Value Void, it is actually quite simple. Give people what they want. And have them feel like they robbed you. That they got so much value that they cannot believe it was ‘only $10K’? - How do you do that??
You fix a visceral, fix me right now pain point. Or give them something that they really, really want. And you over freaking deliver.?
No one wants our stinky courses or lessons. They want the outcome. So give them that.?
My clients stay with me for a long, long time. We always solve the next problem that they face. Why do they come back? Because we fix their biggest problems, over and over again. We get them exactly what they want. And we do it well.?

Don’t be the one who does the whole icky sales thing. Your people can see right through that, right??
When they feel like they need to take a shower, cause you were all over them, but as soon as you got the $,? you vanished… well… you know, not cool.?
Bro marketing hype. The gimmicks. The fake urgency and scarcity. JUST STOP IT. It is 2025. Not 2017. Those things just don’t wash any more. Your people aren’t thick.?

What to do instead??
Use The Diagnostic Diagram to have a two way conversation with your ideal client. And choose, together, to move forward, together. It is easy. It is fun. And it is ethical… cause hopefully that still matters to you.?
And finally, how on earth do you tackle Clickbait Culture? Cause there is so much crap online now, that it feels like your ideal clients are running around like crazy deer, running the wrong way up the motorway. They are listening to everyone, downloading random stuff off the internet, which by the way they never open… and you’re running your precious ad spend to get their eyeballs on your stuff. And they won’t ever buy from you anyway.?
So, what to do about it??
Well the best way to solve this one (after testing ALL the ways) is with a lead qualification system i.e. a Quiz Funnel.?
And no, I don’t mean one of those gimmicky quizzes you see online, like what sort of an animal are you…?
I mean a true deep diagnostic funnel.?

Eyes who?

And instead of getting those low quality, expensive leads, you’ll be allowing the cream to rise to the top on autopilot, as your quiz qualifies them FOR you.?
