The richest people in the world look for building networks. Everyone else looks for work. - Robert Kiyosaki
If I asked you what Networking really is, what would you say?
Here’s something interesting: So many of us don't even realize what networking really is about. Majority of the people actually think that it is about growing the business, its about transactional gains, its about going and meeting new people who they can benefit from. This couldn't be further from the truth.
Networking is essentially about building a great network that is willing to work for you.
Here is something even more interesting: It is there in the name “Net-Working” - Your network working for you.
If you see the behaviour of the most successful networkers, it is observed that they are not selling or preaching anything, rather they focus on just building strong relationships.
Start focusing on the people, try to create a relationship and all those wonderful relationships together create a GREAT network. So the next time you want to go out and network, do not focus only on transactional gains, focus on building amazing relationships around you, nurture them and let them work for you.
