What needs to be done before starting up a fermenter that has not been used for a long time?

Please do the following checks before using the fermentation tank:

1. Check whether the supporting energy supply system is operating normally - the air compressor starts normally: increase the water level of the chiller to the highest point before starting; increase the water level of the steam generator water tank to the highest point to start. If the water pump cannot add water, refer to the use of steam generator Manual, open the water pump exhaust port to exhaust;

2. Before using the fermentation tank, check whether all valves are open normally (such as jacketed drain valve, exhaust valve, etc.) and perform a 0.15Mpa, 30-minute pressure holding test on the tank. The leakage shall not be less than 2~5%.

3. In order not to affect normal use, test each function one by one, such as temperature control, PH control, stirring operation, peristaltic pump working status, etc.

4. Check the status of the air intake/exhaust/feed filter element. If it is yellow, clogged, deformed, etc., please replace it in time.
