What will be necessary steps you should follow to Migrate from one domain to another -SharePoint 2013

Yesterday someone sent me mail that they want to migrate their data center from one domain to another domain so what will be the steps they will follow for the successful migration. The tough thing was that they asked me the best practices to migrate the data-center.

They sent me some of their Migration Plan and which i have mentioned below

I am sharing this thing to all of you guys because i am sure many of you are doing some of this type of work or will be doing in future so Kindly focus the given steps while migrating SharePoint farm from one domain to another So these steps will be followed for successful migration

Steps starts here

1. Take a backup of the current SharePoint farm in the old domain.

2. Build a new SharePoint farm in the new domain.

3. Restore the old SharePoint farm in the new domain.

4. Move the servers into the new domain.

5. Move the users from old domain to new domain.
