What Nature teaches us?

What Nature teaches us?

“To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.” -Helen Keller

Nature is colourful, a proud source of everything. Whatever we have, whether directly or processed, everything is provided to us by Nature. Love, joy, wealth, happiness, energy, food, water, clothing, shelter and anything you can imagine of ever having existed. Whatever she is not able to consume, that is what comes from an unaltered meaning of life. ‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’, indeed holds true when no matter how many fancy malls and restaurants you visit, nothing can compare the sight of walking on a weathered path covered by trees from both the sides, or closing your eyes to see more clearly when small raindrops touch your skin but calms your mind, when you place your feet in a never ending motion of the sea waves. When you are lucky enough to have blessed your visions with lush meadows overloaded with brilliantly coloured flowers and dense forests with skyscraper trees. How can anything be so blissful, how can even heaven be better than this?

“There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”-Rachel Carson

Humans are confusing creatures. They worship invisible God and destroy the visible God. But Nature is forgiving so she lets you open up to a fact that she is a book of lessons, only if one remembers how to find ways in glimpses. Nature is time-perfect, committed, devoted, selfless and principled. Origin of discipline, beauty and art, every element of hers teaches way too many things but adapting even a percent can change our lives for good.

“I believe in God, only I spell it Nature.” -Frank Lloyd Wright

The Sun is a source of life. He binds our solar system and represents influence, and strength. He symbolizes energy, strong will, being clear and self and how selflessly our privileges must be shared. The Sun is tirelessly committed to his principles of providing nourishment, warmth and his light to all lives without expecting favours in return. Be satisfied with what you have, you cannot have more than the Sun!

The phases of the moon symbolize immortality and eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of Nature herself. “The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.”

Philosophers regard trees as observers witnessing the evolution of humans and the planet around them. They are breathtaking sources of life, food and shelter.

“Listen to the trees as they sway in the wind. Their leaves are telling secrets. Their bark sings songs of olden days as it grows around the trunks. And their roots give names to all things. Their language has been lost. But not the gestures.”
