Most people think performance reviews are about patting yourself on the back or pointing fingers. Over the years, I’ve used them to help teams grow – sometimes with great success, sometimes with a polite “must do better.”

But this year, I flipped the script.

Instead of me dishing out the feedback, I asked 117 people I worked with to review me. Yep, I put myself on the chopping block. I wanted to know if I was walking the walk or just another talker with a PowerPoint presentation.

I call it my Personal Effectiveness Evaluation.

Here’s What I Found:

?? Out of 117 reviews, every single one gave me a perfect 5-star rating.

And if you’re thinking, “Alright, Greg, what’s the point of the humblebrag?” – hold tight. Because this isn’t about stars; it’s about what those stars represent.

Now, I don’t share this to toot my own horn but to emphasize something critical: real change is possible when you’ve got the right tools and guidance. These words remind me why I do this.

What I Learned This Year

1?? Impact trumps everything. I need to reach more people who feel stuck and show them they can take back control of their lives.

2?? There’s always room to level up. Even with glowing reviews, I know I’ve got work to do. Growth isn’t a destination – it’s a journey (and yes, that sounds corny, but it’s true).

3?? 2025 is about going BIGGER. Next year, I’m committed to helping even more people break through their barriers and rewrite their stories.
