What is my best investment option?
Hello everyone,
I hear all the time what is the best investment option and i simply ask people to consider the following points:
- Where are you resident
- What is your nationality or nationalities
- Where are your tax liabilities
- What assets do you currently have
- What penalties could you incur if you liquidate an asset
- What are your plans for your assets, growth/income
Once you have asked yourself these questions then you should also think of the following:
- Dont invest your assets in products of funds that are not liquid or have liquidity options
- Dont invest in any asset classes that are volatile to market conditions, geo-graphical conditions, without diversification
- Dont invest directly or indirectly into stock markets unless you understand the product and the risks involved
- Make sure you consider the currency dealings you will have when exchanging one investment structure for another
- Lower risk is better as yes it will probably deliver a lower return but you dont have too much exposure on your capital
- Please check what are the costs incurred by the providers of the structures or products
