What is the most important task probably missing from your daily to-do list?

As I speak with business owners and salespeople from a wide range of businesses, I ask them a lot of questions about their daily activities.?

?

A favorite area of interest for me is their daily to-do list.?

How do they keep themselves organized and on track in the midst of being extremely busy??

The answers rarely vary. The most common answers center on following up with customers, prospects and suppliers, as well as making appointments and preparing for them.?

They all usually seem surprised when I ask them what they consider the most important thing they could do every day- but aren’t.?

The usual response is-What do you mean??

Questions always get answers. The better your questions, the more useful the answers. Often, those answers will influence your future actions. The more you improve your actions, better results will follow.?

How often, at the end of a busy day, do you honestly review your day by asking yourself a series of questions??

Ask yourself:?

-What else could you have done to improve your results, if possible??

-How frequently do you take the time to recount each meeting you’ve had and consider what you and your client said??

-What could have made your meetings with clients, prospects and team members even more productive than then they probably were??

-Were you as prepared for the meeting as you would have preferred to have been??

-How closely you were actually listening to them??

-Were you able to find new ways you could solve needs that they have??

-Are any referrals likely to come from your meetings??

-What is the most important thing that needs to happen tomorrow??

-What else should be on tomorrows to-do list??

What other questions could you ask yourself at the end of the day as you are preparing for the following day??

Ending your day with a critical review will always help you to be more productive the following day. Not only will it sharpen your focus, but it will also help you re-set your intentions as you also prepare the following days to-do list.??

It will help you increase your revenues and the value of your business.?

But we are all so close to our own business that we often can’t see the opportunities that are right in front of us.?
