What is the most ideal way to measure your weight loss?
There are loads of ways in which you can measure this
Tape measurements
Fat % with callipers
Fat % machines in shops
Scales
Clothes fitting
Photos
Your stamina
Your mood
BMI
Plenty of ways, but how do you know which one is right for you?
I am going to look at brief pro's and con's on this one for you
-- Tape Measure --
PRO: You get to track lots of different areas of your body
CON: It can be difficult if you are doing it on your own
-- Fat % Calipers --
PRO: These are more accurate than using the scales
CON: Doing it on your own can be difficult
-- Fat % machines in Shops --
PRO: Easy to access
CON: Not always calibrated and can be recalibrated at any point which means your measures will differ
-- Scales --
PRO: Can give you a real-life reading if weighed the same time each day
CON: A lot of variables to think about with scales, see my video on this link in the comments below
-- Clothes Fitting --
PRO: Can give you instant feedback and a good goal to aim for focusing on the feeling of wearing that item
CON: If you put THAT piece of clothing n the watch and it tightens and catches you on a "down" day your scuppered
-- Photos --
PRO: Excellent method for seeing clear results of your body
CON: Have to make sure you are in the same lighting and can be difficult doing it on our own
-- Your Stamina --
PRO: Great if you are feeling it one day and you have a good measuring scale for it
CON: If you have not had a good night sleep or feeling weary then stamina may not be up to scratch and our scuppered
-- Your Mood --
PRO: Much like stamina can be great if you have proper scales for measuring can be great
CON: You can get caught out by allowing your emotions to rule you if you have not got them in check and understand them
-- BMI --
PRO: only useful for extreme cases
CON: Too many to mention ;)
There are lots of options but at the end of the day it comes down to the one that
A motivates you
B does not make you a slave to the number
We all know the pitfalls of the scales, and they are unreliable yes
Personally, I'd be using a few methods the ones we use with our guys are
Scales (if needed because sometimes they are needed0

The key thing is to understand your own weight cycle, set reasonable goals, and chip away at it.
PLUS remember that this is all about YOU and not your friend. This is your journey and your progress and success.
Just because someones lost the equivalent of a small dog does not mean to say that you work like that
REMEMBER this is about YOU vs YOU and no one else.
What do you use? what works for you?
